Barbara White, a professor in the Department of Social Work, tackles the first part of "Snowmageddon 2010." As much as she enjoys the weather, Dr. White says, she looks forward to traveling to Costa Rica with the First Year Study Tour next month.
While faculty and staff dig out their driveways at home, members of the Grounds crew have been hard at work clearing Gallaudet's roads, parking lots, and pathways. Thank you!

- Panel: A Photographic Exploration of the Japanese-American Internment During World War II
Frank Wu, vice chair of Gallaudet's Board of Trustees, will moderate a panel discussion featuring rare photographs in the National Archives. The panel will take place at the Archives on Wednesday, February 24, at 7 p.m. - Board of Trustees meeting rescheduled
The Board of Trustees meeting scheduled for this week has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 20.

The men's and women's basketball games vs. Hood College scheduled for Saturday, February 6 have been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 9. The games vs. Christendom College on Monday, February 8 have been moved to Thursday, February 18. And to accomodate make-up games, the games vs. York College have moved from Wednesday, February 10 to Thursday, February 11 in the Field House. Ethan Sinnott, an assistant professor in the Theatre Arts Department, was the set designer for the play, "Zomo the Rabbit: A Hip-Hop Creation Myth," which has been nominated for a Helen Hayes Award in the Outstanding Production for Young Audiences category. - Bobby Siebert named to Men's Basketball Academic All-District Second Team
Junior guard Bobby Siebert has been selected to the 2010 "ESPN The Magazine" Academic All-District men's basketball second team for the College Division-District 2. - Applications available for education majors
